Google rates LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) below 2.5 seconds as Good and above 4 seconds as Poor.
Our Core Web Vitals audit fetches this data live from the Google PageSpeed Insights API for every report.
Research from Google and SOASTA found that 53% of mobile visitors abandon a page that takes more than 3 seconds to load (Google/SOASTA Mobile Speed Study, published via Think with Google, 2016).
Google's own Core Web Vitals research found that pages meeting all CWV thresholds are 24% less likely to be abandoned before they finish loading (Google web.dev, 2021).
Pages earning rich results in Google Search typically see 20% to 30% higher click-through rates compared to standard blue-link results, according to Google's structured data documentation.
Sample JSON-LD fix
Every warning includes a ready-to-paste fix.
Here is an example JSON-LD snippet for FAQ schema:
{
"@context": "https://schema.org",
"@type": "FAQPage",
"mainEntity": [

Every dimension of page quality, scored
The nine audit dimensions: E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, Accessibility, Semantic SEO, Internal Linking, AI Visibility, Readability, SERP Feature Readiness, and Content Intelligence.
-
E-E-A-T Signals — Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness.
This is Google's quality-evaluation framework from the Search Quality Rater Guidelines.
E-E-A-T reflects the signals Google's algorithms use to assess content quality.
It is not a single direct ranking factor.
Pages on topics that affect money or health are held to stricter E-E-A-T standards under Google's YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) policy.
-
Core Web Vitals — Real Lighthouse data from the Google PageSpeed Insights API.
Measures LCP, CLS, INP, TTFB, and speed on mobile and desktop.
This is lab data; it may differ from the field data shown in Google Search Console, which uses real-user measurements from the Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX). Note that Google Analytics (GA4) tracks user sessions and events, whereas PageSpeed Insights and Google Search Console are separate tools that measure technical performance and search visibility independently.
Google rates LCP below 2.5 seconds as Good and above 4 seconds as Poor.
See Google's Core Web Vitals documentation.
-
Accessibility — WCAG-based checks for colour contrast, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, and alt text.
Based on W3C WCAG 2.1 standards, which define 78 success criteria across three conformance levels (A, AA, AAA). Approximately 15% of the global population lives with some form of disability (World Health Organization), making accessibility a significant reach factor.
US federal websites must meet WCAG 2.1 AA under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (section508.gov).
Lighthouse measures accessibility and includes it in PageSpeed Insights scores.
-
AI Visibility — Checks access for Googlebot, GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and eight more AI crawlers.
Checks llms.txt files, robots.txt rules, and structured data depth.
Note: AI crawler access, llms.txt optimisation, and citation readiness are not confirmed Google ranking factors. They reflect emerging practices for AI search and content retrieval, based on Page One Brand's analysis of current AI platform behaviour. We clearly distinguish confirmed standards from our own interpretations.
-
Content Intelligence — GPT-4 analysis by OpenAI. Covers search intent, entity coverage, topical authority, and information gain. Useful as a directional signal; not a replacement for expert editorial judgement.
- Semantic SEO — Keyword use, heading structure, and topical completeness.
-
SERP Feature Readiness — Checks structured data types and eligibility for featured snippets, rich results, and knowledge panels.
Uses the Schema.org vocabulary.
Organization and Person schema helps with Google's Knowledge Graph eligibility and brand entity recognition.
Bing also uses structured data markup signals for ranking in Bing search; Bing Webmaster Tools provides comparable guidance to Google Search Console for Bing-specific indexing.
- Readability — Flesch reading ease, grade level, multimedia richness, CTAs, and skimmability.
- Internal Linking — Anchor text quality, link depth, orphaned pages, and internal equity.
What users say
"The AI visibility section alone is worth it. No other tool checks llms.txt and structured data depth in one pass. I found three critical issues in under a minute."
"I run every client page through it before we start. The content intelligence scores tell me exactly where to focus the brief. It has replaced two separate tools."
"The copy-paste JSON-LD fixes are a huge time-saver. I used to spend an hour writing schema by hand. Now it takes ten minutes."
"Scored a 34 on my homepage, fixed the top issues the report flagged, and hit page one for my main keyword within six weeks."
Testimonials are from real customers. They have not been independently verified and are not representative of all users. No compensation was given in exchange for these testimonials. Individual results may vary.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Page Quality Analyzer really free?
Yes. Analyze any public URL at no cost. No account needed. A free account lets you save reports and download full PDF exports.
How long does a report take?
Most reports finish in 30 to 90 seconds. Core Web Vitals run against the live Google PageSpeed Insights API. Content intelligence uses OpenAI GPT-4. Both run in the background so you can read other sections right away.
What makes this different from other SEO tools?
The Page Quality Analyzer covers nine dimensions in one report at no cost. It includes AI visibility checks, llms.txt auditing, robots.txt analysis, and GPT-4-powered content intelligence. Most single-use tools cover one dimension only. Enterprise suites cover more but require paid plans and multiple separate tools.
Can I analyze any URL?
Any public page works — homepages, blog posts, service pages, or product pages. Pages behind a login, CAPTCHA, or IP block cannot be crawled.
How accurate are the scores?
Core Web Vitals come from the Google PageSpeed Insights API, which uses Lighthouse to measure performance. This is lab data. It may differ from field data in Google Search Console, which reflects real-user measurements. AI dimensions use OpenAI GPT-4 with fixed prompt templates per dimension. Results are consistent for the same page. All AI analysis is clearly labelled and subject to our editorial disclosure.
Are AI visibility scores a confirmed Google ranking factor?
No. AI crawler access, llms.txt optimisation, and citation readiness are not confirmed Google ranking factors. They reflect emerging practices for AI search and content retrieval, based on Page One Brand's analysis. We clearly separate confirmed standards (Google's official documentation) from our own interpretations.
Is my data safe?
Page One Brand Ltd processes personal data in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (legislation.gov.uk) and UK GDPR.
URLs submitted for analysis are not stored beyond the report lifecycle.
Page content is not retained for anonymous sessions.
Signed-in users can delete their reports at any time.
We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
We are not currently certified to SOC 2 or ISO 27001; our data handling practices are documented in our Privacy Policy.
Our methodology and scoring
Read our full public scoring methodology — dimension-by-dimension criteria, thresholds, and validation evidence.
Each audit dimension is scored on a 0 to 100 scale. Scores are independent. The nine dimensions are: E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, Accessibility, Semantic SEO, Internal Linking, AI Visibility, Readability, SERP Feature Readiness, and Content Intelligence. The tool runs 90+ individual checks in total.
For the complete scoring rubric — including check definitions, pass/fail thresholds, weighting, data sources, and known limitations for each dimension — see our detailed scoring methodology page.
E-E-A-T uses OpenAI GPT-4 analysis and follows Google's Search Quality Rater Guidelines. Core Web Vitals come from the live Google PageSpeed Insights API, which runs Lighthouse to produce lab data. Note that PageSpeed Insights lab data and Google Search Console field data (from the Chrome User Experience Report, or CrUX) are different measurements; a page may score well in Lighthouse while showing different figures in Google Search Console. Semantic and structural checks parse raw HTML. Content Intelligence uses GPT-4 for intent, entity coverage, and information gain.
Recommendations follow Google's public best practices:
Search Essentials,
Structured Data guidelines,
and helpful content guidance.
Structured data follows the Schema.org specification.
Accessibility checks follow W3C WCAG 2.1 and are mapped to specific success criteria at conformance levels A, AA, and AAA.
The AI Visibility dimension verifies the presence of sitemap.xml, robots.txt, and llms.txt, and checks whether 12 named AI crawlers are permitted access.
Page One Brand's scoring thresholds are custom and may differ from Google's internal signals.
Representative checks and pass thresholds by dimension:
- E-E-A-T — GPT-4 evaluates Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness on a 1–10 scale each. Looks for named authors, linked credentials, inline citations with sources, transparent limitations, and independently verifiable claims.
- Core Web Vitals — LCP ≤2.5 s = Good, >4 s = Poor; CLS ≤0.1 = Good; INP ≤200 ms = Good; FID ≤100 ms = Good. Data from the live Google PageSpeed Insights API (Lighthouse lab data, not Google Search Console field data from CrUX).
- Accessibility — Colour contrast ≥4.5:1 normal text, ≥3:1 large text; all non-decorative images require alt text; ARIA landmark roles present; keyboard focus visible; form labels present.
- Semantic SEO — Title 50–60 chars; description 120–160 chars; canonical tag present; Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image, og:type) all present; Twitter/X card type set; structured data includes at least one schema type; single H1; logical heading hierarchy.
- AI Visibility — Checks 12 named AI crawlers: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, anthropic-ai, PerplexityBot, YouBot, Googlebot, Bingbot, CCBot, DuckAssistBot, Bytespider. Also verifies sitemap.xml, robots.txt, llms.txt, structured data depth, author metadata, and publication dates. Note: Twitterbot, YandexBot, and Baiduspider are not included in the current 12-bot set as they are not primary AI content crawlers.
- Readability — Flesch reading ease ≥60 = Good; average sentence length ≤20 words; at least 1 video embed; at least 1 downloadable resource (PDF, template, or guide); ≥1 data table; ≥1 code block; testimonials or social proof present; CTA phrases detected.
- Internal Links — Unique destination ratio ≥60% = Good diversity; 0 nofollow internal links; 100% descriptive anchor text; no empty or hash-only links.
- SERP Features — FAQPage schema; HowTo schema; Article or BlogPosting schema; BreadcrumbList schema; AggregateRating schema; ≥3 question-format H2/H3 headings; comparison table with headers; definition paragraph 35–100 words.
- Content Intelligence — GPT-4 scores search intent match (0–100), information gain (0–100), entity coverage (0–100), topical authority (0–100), and competitive depth (0–100). Weighted average produces the overall dimension score.
The full check list (90+ checks across all nine dimensions) is published on our Methodology page. A sample PDF report is available to download to see the full output format before running your own analysis.
Known limitations: The analyzer reads HTML as served to a headless browser. JavaScript-rendered content not present in the initial server response may not be fully assessed. Pages behind authentication, WAFs, or bot-blocking rules cannot be analyzed. The E-E-A-T and Content Intelligence dimensions use AI evaluation, which may produce different results for edge-case content. Rapidly changing AI crawler behavior and llms.txt conventions may outpace our check updates; we review and update checks monthly.
Scope of AI analysis: AI Visibility scores reflect Page One Brand's interpretation of emerging AI-search signals. They are not based on published ranking documentation from Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic. We separate these clearly from scores based on confirmed standards such as Core Web Vitals, WCAG, and Schema.org.
GPT-4 analysis safeguards: AI dimensions use fixed prompt templates per dimension. Results are consistent for the same page across runs. No submitted URLs or page content are stored for model training. GPT-4 analysis is clearly labelled. Results may vary across model versions. A full prompt template is available on request.
YMYL disclosure: SEO is a topic that affects business revenue. This page falls under Google's YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) category. We follow strict accuracy standards for all claims and disclose limits where they apply.
Editorial disclosure: Reports are generated automatically. No human editorial review is applied to individual page scores. Page One Brand does not guarantee ranking improvements. Our methodology is reviewed by the founding team on a quarterly basis.
